When the story moves to a new place, we create a transition to inform the player. We can choose from any one of the following, depending on the story context.
Your set needs to be listed in the Asset List. Using Background or Location button will automatically add the background you select to your Asset List for you.
Background command in Visual Editor.
Location button in Code Editor.
Using a banner effect will cause the Story Name of the new Background to display across the screen when the reader changes location. This can be useful for visiting special places, or a place of enough importance that you’d like to call the reader’s attention to it.
The text on the banner will be the same as the Background’s Story Name.
